Noank Village Farmers' Market (NVFM) is a true community event on Friday afternoons from 3 - 6 p.m. in the scenic seaside village of Noank, Connecticut. The 2015 season starts June 19th and runs until September 4th. Located in the Village Park on the corner of Mosher Ave and Main Street next to the fire station and the iconic Carson's Store. NVFM offers a sampling of fresh local produce, farm raise meat poultry, pork and eggs, a variety of goat cheese and yogurt, fresh seafood of all varieties, local wine from the vineyard of Stonington, fresh pasta, marinara and 12 different pestos, Portuguese bread and artisan bread, baked goods and deserts, dips for mixing, lemonade, ice cream, honey, maple syrup and jams, probiotic vegetables, natural cosmetics and soaps, and local artist paintings and jewelry. It is a small village with lots of local charm. Children play in the park while parents shop and catch up with neighbors and friends. Buy local and feel great!
