The founding members of the Wellness Rising Coalition are a group of four enthusiastic women who have a passion for health and wellness. Among us there are mothers, beekeepers, an herbalist, an aromatherapist, cooks, bakers, wellness warriors and educators, an avid gardener and seed saver, and a loyal sisterhood with a mission to create a health and wellness movement one month at a time.
Born out of frustration with today's broken healthcare system, and the realization that many of our local farmers markets are not organized with a sharp focus to only include verifiable growers and producers, we created a gold standard market that is our vision for the future of healthcare. We carefully vet each vendor who wishes to participate in our Wellness Rising Farmers Markets to ensure they align with our mission.
Our mission begins with a focus on wellness education and ends with resources that meet our gold standard. As part of that gold standard we only include local farmers, food artisans, and vendors of all-natural, chemical-free health and beauty products, along with health and wellness coaches and practitioners. This ensures Wellness Rising is the premier farmers market in the Chicagoland area and that each vendor will provide value to the market overall as well as to each participant, shopper and vendor alike.
Together, we're all creating a wellness coalition. Please join our movement!
Our markets feature organic artisan tea; local veggies; chemical free make-up and body products; maple syrups; local Elgin honey; olives and olive oil; gluten free sugar-free baked goods; farm fresh baby food; essential oil blends and essential oil-based body products; pastured meats and eggs; kombucha, jun, and fire cider; wellness coaching; a life coach; acupuncture; medical cannabis registry, and hemp distribution; garden fresh salsas and jams; microgreens; gourmet condiments and snacks
