Red Shirt Farm is a regenerative farm on the Route 7 corridor in Lanesborough, Massachusetts, in the northern Berkshires. We grow more than 50 varieties of vegetables and herbs using no-till, chemical-free methods, and we raise heritage breed pigs on pasture, sold as whole or half hogs.
Alongside the farm, we run Red Shirt Farm Market, a year-round farm store at the same address. It carries our own produce, plus local eggs and dairy, prepared foods made in our own commercial kitchen — baked goods, soups, salads, and grab-and-go lunches and dinners — and goods from more than 80 regional producers: bread, coffee, maple syrup, honey, and pantry staples. Our CSA works on a store-credit model: members get a 10% discount and can spend their share on any of the vegetables we grow, not a fixed weekly box.
We accept SNAP and HIP, which stretches SNAP dollars further on Massachusetts-grown produce. Our certified commercial kitchen also does double duty as a shared-use space for other local food producers, including FarmTrue Ghee and There Will Be Dough. The store is open Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–6pm, and Sunday, 10am–4pm, closed Monday, at 60 Williamstown Road, Lanesborough.

We're located right on Route 7 (Williamstown Road is Route 7) in Lanesborough, MA just north of Bailey Road. You'll see our sign down by the road. We share the driveway with our neighbor, so once you turn in, stay straight/left up the small hill and continue to our house (cinnamon colored with green trim) where you'll find a few parking spaces.
