We have been farming since 2009, growing 3 acres of vegetables in Wheatland, VA, 45 miles from Washington, DC. Our growing methods follow the principles of sustainably-minded, ecologically-based farming. We work to produce tasty, beautiful, high-quality vegetables for our CSA, and to do this in a way that furthers the principles of person-based rather than corporate-based food systems.
Our CSA focuses on the ''staple'' vegetables people like to eat and delivers tasty, fresh produce every week from late June through early October. Although we have shifted more towards CSA we do still sell wholesale to people who have a personal interest in the food they're buying, such as the CSAs of other farmers, co-ops and corner stores, and other small business owners.
