The Urban Acre Homestead is a 1 acre market garden within the Urban Growth Boundary of Portland, Oregon. The farm's primary products include salad and bunching greens, culinary and medicinal herbs and specialty vegetables that change with the season. Sales outlets include local farmers markets, restaurants, and the occasional wholesaler. My professional history includes working for several certified organic farms, so while not certified, I apply many of the same practices including low tillage, rainwater harvesting and drip irrigation, native plantings, and strict food safety protocols. I am always happy to answer questions about what practices get used and why!

Since the Urban Acre is nestled in a neighborhood, we are not currently open for tours and visitors. Please come visit me at one of my farmers market locations or reach out if you're interested in a Fresh Sheet for wholesale pricing. I truly believe that small neighborhood farms make an important contribution to urban food chains, and want to thank you for supporting your local farmers who work hard to feed you the best!
