Do you know your farmer? Jack Clayton and Candi Durham started Clayton Farms in Baltimore County in 2013. As EMTs we transitioned into farming as first generation farmers. We are passionate about farming in a manner that is healthy, sustainable, free of chemicals and good to the earth. We are not only growing vegetables, but also healthy soil. At Clayton Farms we use organic growing techniques. We are a Certified Naturally Grown producer, which is a grassroots alternative to the USDA organic program. We do not use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and only plant Non-GMO and organic seeds. We plant a wide variety of produce and offer an excellent selection of heirloom tomatoes and mixed salad greens as well as many other types of produce. We have a wonderful CSA and new this year we will be adding a Fall extended season CSA and delivery options! We have multiple pick up locations and send a weekly email newsletter with recipes and tips to go along with the produce you received in the share. We also participate in the Towson Farmers Market and Carroll County Farmers Market at the Ag center as well as sell to restaurants and Johns Hopkins University.
