COUNTRY FARMERS' MARKET at Hopewell Fire Dept We have had two wonderful years and thank everyone for their support! For now, we are suspending our market. We will keep you updated in case we reopen during produce season. Some of our regular sellers have included Ben Swiderek's Eggs, Carver's L'il Half Acre Farm, Wayne Ramsey's Farm, Country Garden Greenhouse Farm, Mike Steele's Produce and Santa's Farm & Bakery. You might check them out at other locations. Come visit us in the country and get home grown goodness. Sweet corn, tomatoes, redskin and yukon gold potatoes, peppers, onions, blueberries, stringless green beans, cucumbers, okra, eggplant and squash, to name just a few. More fruit and vegetables available each week in summer. Farm eggs, honey, jams and plants all season long. Beautiful country drive with farmers' fields and mountain views all around (no asphalt lots). From Vonore: Take Niles Ferry Road from Hwy 411 in Vonore 2.7 miles and turn left onto Povo Rd to Hopewell Springs Baptist Church, then right 1/2 mile to 1968 Federal Road. From Madisonville: Take Ball Play Road from Hwy 411 then turn left onto Povo for a few miles past cemetery on left. Turn left between cemetery and Hopewell Springs Baptist Church. Just follow the Red and White signs at the turns.
