Thorn Crest is a small, family owned, sustainable farm that provides a diverse amount of fresh produce grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, synthetic fungicides or herbicides.
We are now taking member registrations for the 2012 growing season. Starting in late May/early June and running through October, members receive a weekly share of fresh picked vegetables anywhere from 18 to 22 weeks, depending on the growing conditions. Some weeks will also include fresh herbs, fruit and flowers when in season. Shares start out light but increase, averaging anywhere from 1/2 bushel to a full bushel during peak season. Members can pick up at the farm or Just Foods Co-op in Northfield or at Valley Natural Foods in Burnsville.

November 23 - December 2. Fridays: 12 noon - 4:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays: 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. U-cut Christmas trees, gift shops, fresh wreaths and swags. Tree cutting continues through December 16 - call for times.

Thorn Crest Farm's drop sites will be on Wednesday evenings between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 P.M. at Just Foods Co-op in Northfield, Mn. and on Fridays from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Valley Natural Foods in Burnsville. Pick up at the farm is Monday evenings between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. , Wednesday evenings between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. or Friday afternoons from 1:30p.m. to 2:30p.m.
