We are open for on-farm sales nearly year-round. In January through April we have limited hours. We are dedicated to being a neighborhood source for fresh, organic products. I am a grower of organic produce, cut flowers, herbs, and plants. I have been growing organically here for over 40 years. I was first certified organic at the inception of the National Organic Program in 2001. Before that I practiced organic methods from the beginning. This small farm was a family effort from its inception in 1823 until today.

Suburbia is encroaching on all sides here, but this has been a small farm for over 150 years and I maintain an island of sound productivity and sustainability in the midst of it -- for our benefit and for that of our neighbors. Welcome to all of my new neighbors.

I grow a very wide variety of produce which includes hardneck garlic, special potatoes, celery, and other not-so-common crops. I specialize in greens, salad mixes, cut flowers, and heirloom and hard to find crops. In Summer we have TOMATOES!

My partner, Nancy, grows and sells first grade cut flowers. Her work is professional and sought by Dayton?s best florists. Her bouquets are original and eclectic . Stop by our farm store and ask.

We are still working on the mechanics of the website, be patient. See Hungry Toad Farm on Facebook.
