Back 40 Farm is a family run farm that started out as a way for our children to learn about humane animal husbandry, organic growing practices, and self-reliance with an environmental consciousness. We have grown to produce numerous fruits and vegetables, some nuts, free range and antibiotic free chickens and turkeys, farm-fresh eggs, and now expanding to include honey from our own bee hives and grass fed beef. We offer our products at our farm location in a roadside stand, and through CSA. It is our sincerest hope that we can share excellent quality products with our community while educating on humane treatment of animals and environmentally sound growing practices.

Very nice family run business, very reasonably priced eggs a dozen for $3. I've been looking for a local home based egg sellers (I like knowing the animals get more individual care) and I'm glad to have come across this listing.
This is a wonderful CSA! They are friendly and helpful. The produce is amazing. We've gotten so much more than we thought we would. We're constantly coming up with new ideas to use all the food--especially apples and squashes.... [more]
We focus on humane treatment of all of our animals and reducing the use of chemicals in all food sources. Our passion is bringing consumers "back to the small farm".
