I grow my vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers naturally, no chemicals, no sprays, no growth hormones or anything else. I do not use GMO seeds. I believe in heathy foods, heathy soils and that a natural sustainable environment creates the best we can do for our foods, our animals, ourselves and our future. We raise layers chickens feeding them organic feeds, our organic vegetables, our grains that we raise and the chickens are free ranged all year long, providing the temperatures is above 5 degrees. They are free to go in and out of their house and also into other shelters as they please. I am also raising heritage hogs, Mulefoots and Red Wattles/mulefoots. These are rare breeds and are great hogs. They are also pastured raised and fed the pasture as well as small amounts of Organic pellets, and our vegetables. Most of my vegetables are heirlooms. All of my tomatoes are heirlooms. I make 5 to 7 kinds of hot pepper jellies. I make tomatillo salsa as well as pickled hot peppers, jalapeno peppers, dilled green tomatoes, hot dilly beans, dilly snow peas, dill pickles, and bread and butter pickles. I am making several different kinds of hot sauce from the peppers I grow. We dehydrate many different kinds of peppers and crush them and put into shakers to sell. We also sell our eggs. Please come visit me if you are in the area. I love showing my chickens and pigs.
