Mountain Foot Farm is a small diversified family farm located in Northeastern Vermont serving the St. Johnsbury-Lyndonville area. Products produced by this farm include: trout, maple syrup, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and more... The farm's products are sold through a number of outlets, including: farmers' markets, and to restaurants. We have always used sustainable farming practices that have historically been called organic. We do not currently have third party certification of "organic" status. We believe that direct knowledge of the farm and direct contact with the farmers by the food purchaser is a better foundation for trust and understanding than the faceless bureaucratic paperwork that "certifies" USDA sanctioned organic status.
