Moon Fox Farm is a young biodynamic farm, on top of great soil, in a beautiful location between bay and ocean. We strive for true sustainability and believe that it is the sweetest taste of all. We specialize in growing open pollinated, heirloom crops long cherished for their flavor and appearance. Open pollinated is not only good for the bees and butterflies, but it also allows us to save our own seed, creating a deeper sense of place, a real local flavor. Other sustainable practices include saving water, making biodynamic compost, growing flowers year round for the pollinators and food for our Bantam chickens, keeping bees, and working with comic rhythms. The CSA is offered either every week or every other week for people in the SF bay, North bay areas. We grow an incredibly diverse and delicious selection of heirloom crops throughout the year. Garlic is one of our specialties. We grow over 25 varieties including Spanish Roja and Purple Glazer. Some other special varieties we grow include German Butterball potatoes, Persian cucumbers, Good Mother Stallard beans, Seascape strawberries, De Ciccio broccoli, Jimmy Nardello peppers.... The list could on and on, check our website for more information, there you can find the sign up form. The cost is $100/mo for every week and $50/mo for every other week
