Blue Door Garden

Tom and Denise Peterson have been farming organically together for the past 25 years. They now operate Blue Door Garden, a two-acre market garden in southwest Virginia. Using organic methods, their products are "grown with respect for the diversity and necessity of wild nature." They produce vegetables, flowers, small fruits, herbs and bedding plants. Products are available at the farm, but please call first to allow enough time for them to pick for you. The Blue Door Garden is also a full-season vendor at the Abingdon Farmers Market.
