Our market garden is located on four acres in Oldham County, Kentucky. We lease land from Foxhollow Farm - a biodynamic grass fed beef farm. The goal of our garden is to supply fresh, healthy and delicious produce to our community. We do this by using natural growing methods and avoiding conventional fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides. The fertility for our vegetables comes from the farm-made compost and green manuring (aka cover cropping). We rotate our crops to avoid the spread of disease and pests. We grow as rich a diversity of plants as we can to help ensure a thriving ecosystem.
We currently sell produce at the Douglass Loop Farmer's Market located in the Highlands in Louisville, KY. The market runs from March-November and is open from 10AM-2PM. December through February we sell at the Bardstown Road Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 10AM-12PM. We also run a small CSA.
