Jim, Diann, and son, Wes raise antibiotic- and hormone-free grassfed beef and katahdin lamb; pastured free-range, antibiotic- and hormone-free pork; chicken; and eggs in permaculture-type rotations with 5 acres of pesticide-free produce, herbs, and bedding plants on their 100-year old family farm near Watseka, Illinois. The Moores provide eggs; meat; poultry; and produce for Common Ground Food Coop and Big Grove restaurant in Urbana and Champaign, Illinois, as well as eggs in several Chicago-area restaurants. They also sell at the Saturday Market on the Square in Urbana, IL, at their farm near Watseka, IL, and via buying clubs in the Chicago area.
