Local Harvest CSA is committed to sustainable and organic agriculture: supporting new and existing local farms and farm families, preserving and building the soil for the future, and providing wholesome food directly to the consumer. Growing vegetables for Local Harvest CSA is only one component of our small, diversified farm, a diversity that is becoming more necessary for the survival of family farms in general. Our pasture-fed lamb is marketed direct to consumers. The diversity of our farm extends beyond the products we sell to the environment we promote and maintain. Community education is central to the work we do, with a summer intern program and seasonal events for all ages. On-farm events include a fall barn dance and more. Farm tours and internships are available by arrangement.

We focus on raising healthy fresh food for our CSA members. All of the vegetables we grow are distributed to our CSA members. Any excess goes to food pantries and neighborhood centers that serve low income famolies. We welcome volunteers and visitors to our farm. We work closely with beginning farmers by offering workshps and other learning opportunities. We believe in helping everyone find their role in sustainability!
