Radix Farm uses sustainable farming practices to grow a wide variety of vegetables and herbs for our CSA, local restaurants, and Farmers Markets in the Washington, DC area. Our Certified Naturally Grown farm follows organic practices and concentrates on building a healthy ecosystem. At Radix Farm, sustainability means treating the entire farm environment with care and respect. We grow three acres of diversified produce without the use of synthetic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Our natural growing methods and small-scale enables us to provide individual attention to the plants and nurture the soil. In addition, we strive to increase local food security and make nutritious food accessible to all members of the community.
