Our Philosphy As consumers we understand the importance of healthy food. As parents we also see the need to learn sustainability. There is an Amish saying that we did not inherit the earth, we are borrowing it from our children. We have a conviction to care for this acreage that the L-rd has made us a steward over. We have a conviction to grow healthy food for our loved ones to thrive on. This for us, means growing our food without the use of antibiotics, pesticides or hormones. It means using sustainable, proactive methods of gardening and raising animals to result in better health for all. We try to keep a bigger picture in mind as we farm. We are concerned with the things as small as the microbes in the soil; and as large as the horses that graze the pasture, as well as everything in between. All of these things bring a proper balance to the farm, and health to our bodies and souls.
