The mission of the Farmers Market at the ASU Tempe campus is to promote sustainability, healthy eating and green living practices among our students, faculty and staff by providing educational opportunities and convenient access to a variety of locally grown and produced foods through a learning-living partnership with Arizona farmers and artisans.
The vision of the Farmers Market at the ASU Tempe campus is a socially embedded market tradition for both ASU and the greater community.
The Farmers Market at the ASU Tempe campus is a collaborative effort sponsored by the following Arizona State University departments, student groups, and community organizations: the University Sustainability Practices Office with the Global Institute of Sustainability, ASU Wellness, University Housing, Memorial Union, Arizona Community Farmers Markets Association, Campus Student Sustainability Initiatives and Campus Health Service.
