Farmers Market in Hershey

We are a seasonal, outdoor market opening Thursday, June 3, 2010 for our first season. We will be open Thursdays from 3:00-7:00 p.m. until October 7th when hours will change to 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., contingent on product availability. We offer direct producer-to-consumer produce, dairy, meat/fish, and specialty products; at least 80% of what we sell is vendor-produced, with the remainder providing variety while developed as much as possible from local resources. We were formed by a unique partnership of Penn State/ Hershey Medical Center (PSHMC), Hershey Trust Company, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company (HERCo), and Hershey Center for Applied Research. Our PSHMC affiliation brings a wellness focus, including health screenings and related offerings; our other sponsors support local, sustainable agriculture and fresh, nutritious food choices for our local and regional community.
