Full Cellar Farm is all about choice! Our CSA is sized for smaller households and lets members choose which vegetables they would like to receive each week, so they never have to get something they don't want! Shares for the full-vegetable CSA feature a range of staple crops, including lettuce, carrots, zucchini, snap peas, sweet onions, tomatoes, and green beans.
We also offer a "Fill Your Cellar" CSA for people who like to preserve and put up their own food. Depending on the year, the Fill Your Cellar CSA may include bulk amounts of beets, basil, pickling cucumbers, canning tomatoes, tomatillos, hot peppers, potatoes, cabbage, and winter squash. Preserving and storage crops can also be purchased individually at bulk pricing during the season.
Our produce is grown using no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. We use sustainable farming methods, including crop rotations, drip irrigation, cover crops, and responsible tillage and amendments to improve the health of the soil, water, and ecosystem. Most of the farm work is done using people power. Several yearly work parties give friends and members the chance to see the farm and help out with tasks like transplanting or bean shelling.
