Springtail Farm

Springtail Farm is direct market producer and seller of seasonal, NW adapted and open pollinated herbs and vegetables. We grow over many varieties of 20 different crops on 1/4 acre in Damascus, and 1 acre in Orient. This season Springtail Farm is participating in the Headwaters Farm Incubator Program. We will be growing there for the next 4 seasons and are very excited about this opportunity! The program is sponsored by the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District (EMSWCD). We practice sustainable and chemical free growing methods with a focus on onions, potatoes, winter squash, kale, collards, spinach. This season our focus will be on onions, melons/watermelons and storage vegetables, roots and strawberries. Our mission is to serve our neighbors in the Arleta and Lents neighborhoods of Portland Oregon primarily, but also wish to welcome any supporters in outer SE Portland, in particular, the Woodstock and Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhoods. We offer 2 options to farm supporters: 1. Receive an email each week for 26 weeks beginning in May with a list of available produce, selecting which vegetables you'd like to purchase, with no obligation to purchase anything. 2. Invest in a Springtail Farm 22 week CSA share. Simply choose to purchase a $10.00 or $25.00 box and let us put together for you the available bounty that week. Of course, all boxes are customizable and there is no obligation to buy from us the entire season, just pay week to week. A 10.00 box per week would be $220.00 for an entire season, and $550.00 would be the cost for a $25.00 box for an entire season.
