Yorktown Market Days & Cooking Demos

Our waterfront farmers market is one of the most unique in Hampton Roads - offering spectacular views of the York River, live music, food trucks, chef cooking demonstrations, and a variety of vendors! This year, the season starts mid-April, and you can enjoy weekly markets through the end of October. Every Saturday, you'll discover something new! Shop for seasonal produce; fresh seafood; meats; breads; handmade soaps and candles; honey; gourmet dog treats; and a beautiful display of work from local artists and artisans. Talk to farmers, ranchers, watermen, and food entrepreneurs face-to-face to learn about their techniques for growing, catching, and maintaining the highest quality products to offer you and your family. (Exceptions: May 5 & Oct. 6) After the weekly season wraps up, you can look forward to special holiday markets on select Saturdays in November and December. Take advantage of extended hours to shop for gifts and holiday goodies. From hay rides to pumpkins to face painting-these special markets bring the community together with fun for all ages! Markets take place at Riverwalk Landing in Yorktown. Just put 331 Water Street into your GPS. There is no charge and they take place, rain or shine. Free parking is available in several designated areas throughout Historic Yorktown. The Yorktown Trolley, also free, runs daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended summer hours. While most vendors accept credit cards, some only take cash. There are ATMs conveniently located at Ben & Jerry's and Yorktown Pub.
