The Gray Street Farmers Market will be open from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM every Thursday from mid-May through October. We are located in the 400 block of E. Gray Street, Louisville, KY 40202. We have 10+ vendors selling vegetables, fruit, bakery goods, honey, jams, canned goods, prepared lunch items, and more!

The goal of this market is to increase access to fresh, locally grown food in the east downtown area of Louisville, KY. In 2010, we began accepting EBT/Debit cards at the market to make it easier for residents to shop at the market. We also have vendors that accept vouchers from the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition program.

The Gray Street Farmers Market's SNAP Dollar for Dollar program, which benefits SNAP recipients, will be available again this year. This incentive program is in its third year and allows SNAP customers to double their money at the market. We will match SNAP funds dollar-for-dollar up to $20 a week.

The University of Louisville School of Public Health worked with several non-profit organizations to launch the Gray Street Farmers' Market in 2009. Our partner organizations currently include Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness, Norton Hospital, The American Red Cross, Family Health Centers, and the University of Louisville.

It's so nice to take a break in the middle of a stressful workday and look at all the beautiful produce (and buy some too)!

Because they provide fresh produce that are organically grown. The taste is great and the freshness is a plus. Also, friendly farmers make the shopping more pleasant.

Fresh organic produce at great prices. I like being able to support our local farming community.
