Market garden started in Maxbass/Westhope ND area in 2012. Moved to the Foxholm area in 2013 and then the NW corner of Minot in 2015. We participated in 2 North Prairie Farmers Markets (Mohall & Minot) in 2012 and joined Minot Farmers' Market (Oak Park) in 2013. This year, 2017, we will again be selling at both Minot markets, North Prairie Farmers' Market on Broadway across from Planet Pizza on Saturdays 11a-2pm (starting July 8) and Minot Farmers' Market in Oak Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at MAYSA on Saturdays, 9a-noon, start date yet TBD. We've experimented with a variety of varieties, cultivation and harvest methods and even a season of only heirlooms. This year we're going back to basics: potatoes, kohlrabi, onions, some garlic, beans, beets, cucumbers (pickling and slicing), zucchini and summer squash, dill, spaghetti squash, tomatoes (slicers only), watermelon (red seedless), eggplant, peppers (bell), acorn & buttercup & butternut squash AND CUT FLOWERS!
