Hat & Heart Farm

Hat & Heart Farm is a 6th generation farming family and the second generation to grow on this 50 year old farm near Fredericksburg, Texas. We use organic and sustainable practices to grow a myriad of seasonal vegetables; to raise over 850 laying hens; and shepherd over 100 meat goats on our 95 acre property in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country.

Bradley (the Hat) grew up on this land and honors his long family legacy of farming by using practices that regenerate the land for future generations to come. Katherine (the Heart) hails from an academic and business background far from the farm but fell in love with Bradley and the mission of local clean quickly. Together they work with a rockstar team of almost all women with past experience on incredible farms, in high end restaurants, and possessing degrees in horticulture, sustainable agriculture, and organizational management.

We offer internships, work with universities to take part in local and national studies, and we hire and teach our local 4-H and FFA students. We enjoy serving our local community through our Farm Club (much like a CSA but more flexible) and are partnered with our local hospital system to provide fresh produce boxes to our deserving healthcare workers. We LOVE what we do and love sharing our bounty.
