Jollisant Farms is family owned and operated. The farms was established in 1955 as a working dairy. The dairy closed in the early 70's, but the barn remained. Having a garden has always been a part of our life, selling a few vegetables here or there to pay for seed. In 2008 we started selling to the public on a small scale. By 2012 we added strawberries to the farm and turned into a pick your own. We have always used organic growing methods however never tried to get certified and never will. Both the vegetables and strawberries are picked by the consumer. By 2014 the demand has been so great fresh eggs, blackberries and blueberries were added, and the beginning of a small playground and picnic area. We have a small corn maze and pumpkin patch in the fall. But growing vegetables and fruit are the main income. The dairy barn is now the education station for school groups and homeschoolers. We make our own jams, jellies, and pickles. Our bee hives have doubled allowing us the sell a little honey.Friends wanting to relieve a little stress are welcome to pull a few weeds, chopping or planting , there's always something to do.
