We have a 25-year, 5 acre lease with the Town of Silt at the Silt River Preserve. We commit to farming in a way that protects our environment and yields nutrient-dense food. We don't use chemical pesticides or fertilizers, instead we work toward building healthy soils and a healthy farm ecosystem.
We run an 8-week job-training program for teens ages 14-17. Youth in the program learn how to grow vegetables and gain a better understanding of the food system, while gaining valuable job and communication skills.
We believe that everyone deserves access to fresh healthy produce, that's why we commit to routing 15% of what we grow to food pantries and hunger relief efforts in Garfield County, and we accept WIC and SNAP benefits. Our produce is also available through our 120-member CSA, at local farmers' markets, and sold wholesale.

We grow a variety of crops for wholesale - among them are: peppers, tomatoes, onions, melons, garlic, potatoes, head lettuce. Our farm is located at the Silt River Preserve, a 132-acre conservation easement protected by Aspen Valley Land Trust and owned by the Town of Silt on the Colorado River.
We suggest you look up directions to Highwater Farm on google maps (instead of using our physical address.)
The preserve is open during daylight hours, and you can visit the preserve anytime. If you'd like to stop by the farm project at the preserve, please contact us to find out when we're on site and schedule a visit.
