Hills & Hens Farmstead

Hills & Hens Farmstead is a small family farm in southwest Iowa near Greenfield, offering farm-fresh eggs and seasonal produce directly to local customers. We are beginner farmers committed to growing healthy food using sustainable and small-scale farming practices. Our goal is to provide fresh, locally grown food for families looking to support a nearby Iowa farm.

Our hens are pasture-raised during the spring, summer, and fall, with outdoor access to forage, sunshine, and fresh air. During winter months, they are cared for in protected housing designed for comfort, health, and consistent egg quality. Our farm also grows seasonal vegetables, berries, and orchard fruit, which may be offered through limited CSA-style Harvest Boxes when available. All food is grown and cared for on our farm, with attention to soil health, animal care, and responsible land stewardship.
