Hoversten Farm

We are a newly acquired farm, still learning our way around the licensing and regulations of the CSA game. We are currently working on establishing our flock of pastured poultry, as of April 2013. We began offering our farm fresh eggs to neighbors and family members in late June, with donations of $1 per dozen to offset feed cost. We are currently establishing our breeding stock of pasture fed Pork. Our farm uses no pesticide, herbicide, and all of our farming is non GMO, certified organic seed started veggies. 2014 will be our first year as beekeepers as well, so in years to follow we plan to offer local honey, as well as byproducts such as beeswax and pollen.We offer a transparent operation, with farm tours available by appointment starting mid July 2014.
