Run by Sue and Claude Braun, Lucky Moon Farm is located in the hills near Cazenovia, NY. Sue and Claude have been farming there since 1992 and sell flower bouquets, eggs, hay, and maple syrup as well as offering a seasonal CSA. Their farming practices are designed to work with the environment, and utilize cover crops, compost, natural mineral and rock powders and certified organic fertilizers to build the soil. They use a drip irrigation system and use absolutely no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or insecticides.
Members purchase a season-long share of the fresh produce, which allows the farmer to have enough funds to meet pre-season expenses , and members receive a weekly supply of whatever is in season.
This year we will also be offering a Winter Share, Contact us for details.
