New Douglas Village Market

Weekly Thursday evening 4 - 7 pm market on Main Street in New Douglas. Grand Opening is May 26th with music, a ribbon cutting, door prizes, and great food to purchase. The market will be open weekly through the end of October with local beef, pork, poultry, eggs, fruit, vegetables, bakery, artist items, and more. At least twice a month a speaker will provide a topic of interest to the garden, nutrition, food preparation, bird house building, natural gardening, master gardener Q & A and visits to the community garden. A youth garden classroom is planned on Wednesdays each week so watch the website for more information. New vendors are welcome to provide locally produced items and foods to a population of approx 5,000 residents in an 8 mile radius of the village. This area is a grocery poor access area so the fresh foods will be a benefit for all. The Township Park has a play area for children and tables for picnic dinners at the Market.
