New Town Organic Farm

Walt Disney once said, If you can dream it, you can do it. As this is the philosophy that started the vision for the New Town Organic Farm. Nate & Angie Tilford organic farm stewards embrace a simple yet sustainable ecosystem. The farm is utilizing crop rotation, composting to mix their soil for propogation, everything is organically grown from certified organic seeds, and harmful pesticides are never used. They have pasture raised chickens commited to egg production, & are increasing their sheep & watusi cattle herd. They incorporate outdoor education by offering classes for children- Wiggly Worm & Tree Topper which instill appreciation and good values related to organic farming, animals, and our friend mother nature. The farm fresh market located in the courtyard is open every Saturday from 8a.m.-2p.m. where they sell organically grown produce including but not limited to: strawberries, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, radishes, carrots, bundles of herbs, raw honey, free range eggs, organic vegetable plants & seed packets, hanging baskets, perennials, Brawell's all natural & organic preserves, sauces, & seasonings. They have a community garden and rent out raised bed plots encouraging folks to grow their own food. They continue to strive to bond generations by providing simple solutions to buy from local farms & support growing organic.
