A Micro-green is the plant after it emerges from the soil, greens up and only has its first baby leaves, then it's carefully harvested as they are still fragile.

A Mini-green is the plant putting it's first true leaves out and then harvested.

Baby Leaf/Greens are the next size leaves that emerge later, still small but that usually means more flavor, sweeter and more tender than full maturity and full weight. We'd even 'bet the farm' that it has more nutrition at these earlier stages too.

So that's why we pick our produce young, tender and sweet.

These small greens and roots are the perfect way to bolster your nutritional intake, add loft and a little pizzaz to a salad mix or be the ultimate garnish for your next get-together or catering event.

So, "why wait for weight"?

Our primary focus is providing better, faster nutrition from produce in an organic way: obtaining only organic certified NON-GMO seeds, certified organic soil, certified organic use plastics for nursery containers and reusing whatever 'free materials' available to keep our costs low.

Also since we are urban farming, the cost for storage,shipping and delivery for our products are eliminated using direct sales to customers within a 15 mile radius.

In turn we are able to provide some of the best produce available in the area for the money.

We also grow edible flowers for special garnishes and even 'conventional produce', though we are trying not to compete with everyone else.

We like to focus on rare, unusual and specialty produce.

This allows our small scale to add variety and nutrition to our markets, providing small custom grows for customers using either plants or produce.

Some of these include Amaranth, Bamboo,Buckwheat, Goji Berri, Paw-Paw, Sorghum, Quinoa, various Asian greens and other customary veggies from around the world.

And we are always looking for something hard to find and full of nutrients!
