Windermere Farms & Apiaries

We are on 17 acres with approximately 4 in cultivation and the remaining in pasture with timber along the hills on either side of the valley. We are 2 minutes from Interstate 40 and the Austin Peay Hwy. in a residential neighborhood. The farm entrance is between 3040 and 3060 Woodhills Dr. There is a small sign just off in the access area and greenhouse and high tunnel you can see from the road. You can drive into the field's parking area in dry weather or park on the street. We do not have a farm market so it is best to call before coming over to make sure we are here to meet you but you are welcome to walk around and look things over.

We irrigate with water captured from the run off from the hills into ponds and then pump as needed to tanks on the ridges about 25 and 35 feet above the valley floor. Distribution is then gravity fed through tubing and T-Tape drip lines to crops as needed. Don't drink the water from any outlets except at the wash station!

We intend to provide the most nutritionally dense soil based vegetables in the county. We believe we are the only organic market gardeners in West Tennessee. Let us know if anyone else can use the handle "organic" without paying a USDA fine!
