We are a small, family farm located in Pittsboro, NC. The farm is stewarded by Ben Shields, Patricia Parker, and an amazing crew of local folks interested in starting their own farms someday. We often have the help of CSA members, other volunteers & interns around here & for that we are grateful!

We are growing on land once stewarded by the esteemed Bill Dow, who was the first person in NC to certify an organic farm. We're thrilled to be the next stewards of this land and rich soil.

We grow and make the majority of what we sell, and we start everything but our strawberry plants from seed ourselves. About half of our seeds are heirloom, and none are GMO. We are partnered with Open Door Farm who use similar growing methods to ourselves for some of the more space taking types of crops (like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and winter squash).

Please have a look around to learn more about us. If you have any questions, always feel free to send us an email at info@ingoodheartfarm.com or call/text us at (919) 637-0666 or (919) 417-0705.
