Laughing Stock Farm

Laughing Stock Farm is a certified organic, four season farm located in Freeport, Maine. We have concentrated on producing the best tasting vegetables possible, and our success is confirmed by the fact that we grow specialty vegetables for many of the best restaurants from Brunswick to Portland. We offer these same vegetables to local consumers through our CSAs. We offer a summer CSA where members receive vegetables every week for 22 weeks from the beginning of June to the end of October. We also offer a unique winter CSA where we provide the usual winter root crops in addition to fresh greens and other vegetables grown in our greenhouses. We heat our greenhouses using locally collected used cooking oil and animal fats using a process that, unlike biodiesel, requires no hazardous chemicals and generates no fossil carbon emissions.
