Gunther and Betty Fischer, owners of Long View Farm, produce chemical free vegetables, fruit, and flowers on two acres of garden space, part of a larger diversified farm in their family since 1944. Produce, from asparagus to zinnias, includes two varieties of potatoes, three varieties of onions, two varieties of garlic, shallots, several varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, hot and sweet peppers and many greens, fresh herbs and flowers (including lavender), berries, squashes and chestnuts in autumn. Each year Gunther tries new types of exotic vegetables including Italian, Asian, and French varieties. Although not certified, we use organic methods on all produce. Betty preserves jellies and jams from pure fruit grown on their farm and bakes a variety of breads using organic flours. Founding members of the Atchison Farmers' Market, Gunther and Betty have been a part of the Atchison market since it began in 1998.

Long View Farm will be at the Atchison Farmer's Market on all Saturdays from from 8 a.m. until noon. It will be at most Wednesday markets from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. They accept SNAP tokens and KSFMNP coupons.
