Marvin's Garden Produce

Marvin's Garden Produce grows seasonal vegetables and herbs. I grow and sell to a 20 member CSA (up from 10 in 2014) and sell at the Thursday afternoon market on the University of Louisville campus. I also sell to restaurants through the Urban Growers Cooperative which is run by Louisville Grows. I do not use ANY herbicides or pesticides whether they are certified organic or not. I try to grow healthy plants and make sufficient nutrients bioavailable to them so that the plant can fight off pests and disease naturally. I do use organic methods, but I am not certified because I don't like paperwork and some of the rules suck. I am more interested in knowing my customers personally and inviting them to come and see their food being grown. CSA pick up days (Saturdays in 2015) are open to the public and I encourage all of my customers to stop by. In addition to shares, small amounts of additional produce may be available at that time. Visiting hours on Saturday are from 9 AM to 2 PM.
