Sunny Slope Farm is in transition. Our CSA program is no longer in operation. We continue to market eggs, asparagus, and strawberries during the 2018 season.
We are actively seeking a family who would like to take on this unique farm with all its possibilities for produce, crops, livestock and renewable energy. The farmstead can be sold with 35, 80 or 160 acres attached. Special consideration will be given to potential buyers with a verifiable interest in organic or sustainable farming practices. On-farm, weekdays and Saturdays, during growing season. Farm is located on 94th Rd. ("Rockford Rd."), 2.6 miles north of Hwy 136. From Beatrice, go eight miles east from 6th St., then turn left (north) on 94th Rd. 2.6 miles. We have 2 barns and a windmill -- you won't miss us!
