Seeds and Spores Family Farm LLC

Seeds and Spores is a unique farm located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our main focus is growing eight acres of mixed vegetables, but we also grow fruit, medicinal and culinary herbs, and mushrooms. We raise heritage breed hogs and laying hens on pasture, and our beef cattle are exclusively grass fed.

Seeds and Spores is dedicated to creating an integrated farm organism, both within our farming practices and within our community. Our farm is Certified Naturally Grown (CNG). All of our produce and livestock are raised using only natural and authentic farming techniques, and we have been building a living, mineralized soil by adding minerals, micronutrients, bio-dynamic preparations, kelp and compost.

This is our 22nd year farming in the area, and we are continually inspired by the community's positive support of our endeavors. We grow our food for our CSA members, the Marquette Food Co-op, local restaurants, and the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market. Our products are also available via our online store and in our seasonal store on the farm. We are committed to providing quality, local food to help sustain the health of our family, our community, and the environment.
