Willows Bend Farm is a family run business specializing in Heirloom Tomatoes, Open Pollinated Vegetables, Old Fashioned Flowers, Perennials, Herbs, and Hanging Baskets.
Our Emporium features bulk organic herbs and spices, teas, essential oils and aromatherapy products, as well as hand crafted items. We are happy to do individual consultations and make custom blends. We offer local artisans a place to sell their wares on a consignment basis.
Our goal at Willows Bend Farm is to show there is a better way to live. By working in harmony with nature, one can control weeds and pests without chemicals. Buying real, local food is cost effective and much more nutritious. Healing oils can often take the place of toxic pharmaceuticals. Stop by for a visit. There is so much to learn here at Willow's Bend Farm.
Accepting applications for internships for those wishing to accept knowledge, experience, plants and produce for working on the farm. One hour or many!
All of the vegetable plants we start from seed are grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. We are learning and applying the principals of permaculture and forest farming and would like to try aquaponic gardening as well. Our goal is to become as self-sustaining as possible.
We co-operate with Garden Gate Farm Alpacas and more who also has piglets, American Guinea Hog crossed with Kune Kune. Alpacas will be sheared in the spring. We sell fleece that can be carded into batts by you or us. We are learning to spin and felt.
