We are a family homestead with empty nest syndrome. Since we do not have the need to can huge amounts of meat, vegetables and fruit, we are enjoying our outings to the local markets to talk with other growers and customers. We believe in manual removal of plant pests, earthworms, mulch/compost for the garden and the ability of a good immune system to take care of most bird problems. Background includes degrees in nursing, agriculture and education, as well as employment at UGA and Ga Poultry Lab. And we are voracious students of natural farming and sustainable agriculture.

Family-sized garden with barnyard birds. We offer fresh veggies, eggs, annual/perennial flower plants and herbs, colorful feathers from our barnyard flock. We use no meds/chemicals, rely on healthy immune systems in our birds, earthworms, compost and mulch to fertilize our veggies and hand picking of our insect pests. The work we put in and the enjoyment we get out of the garden shows in our products.
