Located in Kingston, NY, Solid Ground Farm provides the Hudson Valley community with access to fresh, certified-organic vegetables through our CSA, delicious pastured poultry, and a mix of shoots, microgreens, and veggies at farmers markets.
We produce and distribute CSA shares through a free-choice system that allows you to to "eat with the seasons" while still getting to select items you actually will use. Each week, members choose from 15 to 20 items to assemble their share.
We use only organic growing practices and emphasize creating a healthy ecosystem for our plants, our customers, and our soil.
During the winter (non-CSA) months, we offer a no-commitment Online Farmstand, where customers can place orders each week for pickup on-farm.

Kingston Farmers Market - uptown Kingston on Saturdays from mid-May through November. Winter Kingston Farmers Market every other Saturday in the Old Dutch Church on Wall St.

We specialize in wholesale greens, including lettuce mixes, edible floral salads, pea and sunflower shoots, spicy microgreen blends, and more. We also grow a diverse range of vegetables, all of which are available for wholesale purchase. All vegetable production uses organic practices and is delivered immediately for peak freshness.

Have had CSAs with several farms in the area, this past summer was my first with Solid Ground. I enjoyed the variety of vegetables, the advice on preparation, and their thorough communication during the season. Plan to see them again in 2017.

Solid Ground Farm is a certified organic diversified vegetable farm located on the Western edge of Kingston. We operate a free-choice style CSA on-farm, as well as in Uptown Kingston and Saugerties. You can also find us at the Kingston farmers market and in local restaurants and health food stores.
