The Newaygo Farmers Market has both Certified Organic Farmers as well as Organically Grown Farmers that provide a variety of vegetables. Visitors to the market will also find seasonable fruits and herbs as well as jams, jellies, cookies and breads. The Newaygo Farmers Market offers a mixture of artisan vendors which may include soaps, jewelry, organic dog treats and mixed media. The market brings in a food truck a couple times a month so visitors can grab a snack or supper which they can eat at one of the picnic tables in the park or take it home. The Newaygo Farmers Market is open on Friday afternoons from 2pm-6pm starting the second week of June until the second week of September. Brooks Park is located on the corner or Quarterline Street and Justice Street. There is ample free parking on all sides of the park. During Farmer Market Hours there are no dogs allowed and no smoking/vaping.
