Laughing Earth

Laughing Earth is a new name for a very old farm - we are privileged to farm a spot that has been farmed at least since the 1700s, most recently as Homestead Farms since 1995. After a transition to new ownership, we are continuing into a second decade of CSA "FarmShare" on the farm, as well as growing pastured poultry and pork. We raise heritage breed pork, and certified organic chickens, turkeys, and eggs on pasture. We grow diverse organic vegetables, herbs, and flowers for our CSA members, and cut flowers and other decor in season.
Many aspects of our operation are now certified organic through Baystate Organic Certifiers. We believe in growing the soil to grow the food. We share each season with beginning farmers through internships, and with the community via farm tours and educational events.
