Rexcroft Farm

Please note that for 2018 we have scaled back the operation to concentrate on quality improvement, as such we no longer run the CSA. We have added another greenhouse for cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. We are a diversified family farm and grow a wide array of fruits, vegetables, bedding plants and cut flowers. We also raise Grass Fed Black Angus Beef and pork. We grow hydroponic lettuce year round and hydroponic tomatoes are available from May through August. The meats are generally available year round as is lettuce. All other produce available in season. Email me for an availibility and price list. Wholesale and retail orders are either picked up at the farm or one of our markets. A word on our farming practices. We eat what we grow, our kids eat what we grow. I do not use anything harmful to humans on items that are to be consumed. My pest control practices are a mix of beneficial insects, differing cultural practices, biological "sprays" (the same things that are organically approved) and as a last resort non organic sprays. Fertlization comes from a mix of decomnposed manure, green manure, and commercial fertilization products which are incoroporated into the soil prior to planting. I utilize drip irrigation to minimize watesful irriagtion, and weed management is achieved through cultivators on tractors for between rows and employees with hand tools to weed between plants within rows.
