Free-range chickens, geese and Flemish Giant rabbits supply our Red Wiggler Worm beds with the basics for our vermiculture compost. We believe if we build the soil, the soil will build the plants. Healthy chemical free plants mean healthy chemical free vegetables.
You can find us at the Norman Farm Market at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds every Saturday April to October and on Wednesday mornings (weather permitting) May to October.
(We are still cleaning up from a tornado in 2010 on top of our VERY hands on gardening methods... PLEASE, don't email or call to offer support! Sun-up to Sun-down is quite enough gardening for anybody without losing sleep typing about it half the night! When things are running a bit smoother, I'll start blogging again. Thanks!)

I ordered a dozen of these seeds and had great results. Lots of rain recently in Tampa has them growing like crazy. Very cool plant and fruit. Hope to harvest lots of seeds for next year and possibly get another crop in this year if we don't have a hard freeze.... [more]

More Land, Less Trees
- ( May 18, 2010 )A tree guy is coming to give us an estimate. We quit counting at 12 big trees pulled up by the roots. Fortunately we had not installed the bee hives yet or they would be pancakes and honey under most of a big old oak.
