Old Loon Farm is located between Old Lake and Loon Lake in Whitley County, northern Indiana. In addition to 10 acres of tillable land, we have 20 acres of woodland and frontage on Old Lake. Since 2002, we have transformed the former soybean field into a small working farm with barns, hayfields, woodlands, fenced pastures, flowers, vegetable gardens, apiary and a small orchard.
On Old Loon Farm we use organic and heirloom seed and plants, as well a natural and sustainable methods of fertilizing and pest control. Our laying hens are free-range, raised without antibiotics or growth hormones.
